According to China Optical Valley official micro reports, BAW high-end filter manufacturing enterprise Wuhan Min Sound (MEMSonics) recently announced an investment of 3 billion yuan in optical Valley headquarters and the construction of high-end RF filter R & D and production base, up to about 10,000 pieces per month.

In July 2023, the "Minsheng - Cellux Beijing 8-inch BAW filter joint production line" cooperated by Minsheng and Beijing Sai Microelectronics has achieved mass production, and has received bulk orders from customers. At the beginning of the same month, Sai Microelectronics said in an investigation that the initial capacity of the Beijing 8-inch BAW filter joint production line was 2,000 wafers/month, and it could be expanded to 10,000 wafers/month.

Rf front-end chips are the basis of mobile communication, among which filters are the highest value and fastest growing segment of RF front-end chips, and the rate of local autonomy in China has been low.

It is understood that Wuhan Min Sound was co-founded by Professor Sun Chengliang of the Institute of Industrial Science of Wuhan University and 14 internationally renowned industry experts, and applied for more than 200 patents, patents covering structural design, process, electronic packaging, single chip integration, etc., to establish a multi-dimensional and multi-level patent barrier. In July last year, the company completed more than 100 million yuan of strategic financing, this round of financing led by the micro private equity, Optics Valley Financial Holding, Yichang Siyuan Investment, Shandong investment and other investment, raising funds is mainly used for mass production of 8-inch BAW filters to accelerate the realization of market development, and then bring scale effect.

In August 2021, Wuhan Minsheng and Sai Microelectronics reached a strategic cooperation. In December of the following year, after the professional review of the expert group, Wuhan Minsheng and SAI Microelectronics cooperation to build the Minsheng - Cellux Beijing 8-inch BAW filter joint production line announced the realization of a comprehensive line.

In July 2023, the "Minsheng - Cellux Beijing 8-inch BAW filter joint production line" cooperated by Minsheng and Cymicro Electronics realized mass production, with a monthly production capacity of 2000 pieces, and has received bulk orders from customers.
